Smoked Trout Christmas Canapes
These are the perfect start to a Christmas lunch or dinner. Easy, light, healthy, refreshing and ever so gorgeous on a platter. Did I mention champagne?
- Cut cucumbers into 1/2 cm rounds
- Place creme fraiche or kefir cream cheese into a piping bag or plastic sandwich bag with a small snip in the corner and squeeze out onto the cucumber rounds
- Add flaked smoked trout, cultured vegetables or sauerkraut, capers and dill then season with sea salt.
